Research Resources
Some masters' programs, particularly those that prepare students for entry into doctoral programs, require students to work with faculty to develop research skills and to prepare research papers. Students are responsible for identifying faculty who have interests and skills consistent with those the students wish to pursue. The PhD program is central to the college’s research mission. PhD students are expected to become involved in research early in their programs. Students present their work in research seminars attended by faculty and other PhD students. Masters' students who intend to pursue PhD study should acquaint themselves with research in their discipline.
